Services
🏁 An introductory session provides an opportunity to get to know each other. This isn’t a counselling session so we won’t go into too much depth - share what feels comfortable to you.
🧑🧒 For clients under 18, a parent or carer is welcome to attend the full introductory session if you would like.
💬 If parent / carers don’t stay for the whole session, it is useful for them to join for part of the session to discuss how counselling works, what information I can share with them and how we may stay in touch.
I will invite you to share information about:
- 💪🏻 Your strengths, interests and what makes you feel safe and understood
- ❓ What has led you to seek support
- 🤞🏻 What you might like to get from counselling
I will share information about:
- 💬 How I work and what you can expect from me in sessions
Together we will consider:
- 🛡 Your current safety and wellbeing, for example how you’re feeling and coping, so I can understand whether my skills and expertise mean I’m the right person to support you
You can also ask any questions or share other information you think it is important for me to know.
What to expect:
- 🧱 Regular sessions that build over time, allowing us to develop trust and work through things together
- 💻 Sessions take place online during term time
- ⏱️ Each session lasts 50 minutes
